About Me

Aviano, Italy
Well, I'm full time employed by the US Air Force, and love spending my off duty time with my family. This is what got me into photography in the first place. Since we are overseas so often, and now we have a child, photographing these moments became more important to us. Then I got more into it, and man, what an expensive pastime this has become! Love every second of it though, and hopefully this will be my "retirement job" in life after the military...

Tormenting our Daughter

So as every good parent must do, we torment our child. My mother did it to me, and her father did it to her. My wife's parents tormented her, and so on and so on. Well, today's post is two videos I recently got off our camcorder and finally did something with. So from the archive files to the "I better use this" file, here are two videos of parents doing what they should do best...torment their kid.
The first video is from when we were watching Americas Funnies Videos (I am a HUGE fan, so it's on in the house every week). It was the first time our daughter watched this show, and her reactions to other people getting hurt...
The next video is my wife and I just down right picking on our daughter for our own entertainment...yea, I know, parents of the year material here. Anyway, our little girl was riding her bike around the house when my wife decided she wanted to ride the bike. Well, with a little editing and fun...we ended up with this...
So a little side step from posting photos, and punched a couple of fun videos I just edited. Hope you enjoyed them, and please...be a good, loving parent, and go torment your child. They'll thank you for it later!

Welcome to GardaLand!!!

So last month we packed up our car and went to the Italin Theme Park, GardaLand. Man...was it H-O-T too. A little too hot since our poor little girl ended up getting sick at the end of the weekend. Yeesh! Anyway, besides that, the three of us had a blast. Of course most of our time in the theme park was in their kiddie land where our little tiny tot has an absolute blast. Well, except on the Pirate Ships. These were a mini-sized Ferris Wheel that out little poor kid screamed so hard that the ride had to stop early to let her off. Nor the Merry-Go-Round, that's a whole different story. We had a heck of a time getting her off that ride.
All-in-all, we had a great time. Got some photos throughout the weekend & hope ya like'm!!! The whole set can be seen at http://lefthandedimages.com.

Off to the Park!

You can subscribe to this blog by just throwing your email address in at the top right of this page! Our little girl was getting restless today, so per her request, we all went to the "Wheee!" (that's what she calls the park). So away we went and I decided to take my camera with us to get some shots of her having a good ol' time. Well, she's so used to the camera by now, that when she see's me pointing it at her, she poses and says, "Cheese!" Well, that's what's happening in the B&W pics below on the bridge, and you can see my wife cracking up behind her. So anyways, hope you enjoy...I know our little girl did! FORE!!!

You can subscribe to this blog by just throwing your email address in at the top right of this page! Well I was able to spend a Thursday afternoon on a golf course with a camera...talk about a great event to be put on! The Command Chief for Aviano Air Base, Chief Collins, had announce his retirement, and went out with style via a golf tournament for the base. Now that's a retirement ceremony that people enjoy! So I spent the first few holes following the Chief and his team, then just went hopping from hole to hole afterwards trying to get as many participants as possible. The event turned out just like the weather, perfect! All in all, everyone has a great time, and I'm sure there's plenty more golf days on the horizon for our retired Command Chief. Hope you enjoy, and feel free to leave some comments as well. The event can be seen in its entirety at my website, http://lefthandedimages.com. Adam

Always Something New!

Well, another first for me happened the other day! I was asked to be the photographer for a Change of Command ceremony for the Medical Group on Friday, June 26th. These ceremonies are held when a commander is leaving for a new assignment elsewhere, and hands over their command to the incoming officer. As mentioned, I have never done one of these before, so I was kind of just going on the fly during the event.
All in all, I think it turned out pretty well, and I'm happy overall with the outcome. Here are a few that I particularly liked, and the entire ceremony can be seen at lefthandedimages.com under the Military section.

Let's Go Get Pizza!

Just a quick entry to show some new pictures from tonight. Our daughter & I walked to the local pizzeria, and I decided to take my camera with me since she always makes the trip more interesting than it should be! Right outside our apartment is a beautiful arched wooden bridge that hovers over the town river, and that's where our daughter likes to spend most of her time on the way to the pizzeria (she likes to tell the water & ducks "Hi" about fifty times each). So anyway, here are a few quick pictures from the walk. And yes, the pizza way great, and no...I didn't get pictures of the pizza...sorry.Add Image

Ciao Italia!

Well, my family came to visit for two weeks here in Italy, and we did some powerhouse touring in that timeframe! Somehow in between drinking wine and eating until we were stuffed, we were able to check out Venice, Rome, Florence, Pisa and the villages of Cinque Terra too! We had a blast, and I'm going through the pictures now, but wanted to get something up on this blog to show everyone. Hope you enjoy, and thanks for looking! This was taken just outside of Venice on Murano Island, where all of the Murano glass factories are located. A view of one of the domes to St Makr's Cathedral in Venice One of Michaelagelo's sculptures in the Sistene Chapel Of course...the Leaning Tower of Pisa! That's all for now. Thanks for checking in!
